Alejandro Gálvez Jimena (born June 6, 1989 in Granada ) is a Spanish football player . He has been under contract with Rayo Vallecano again since 2018 and is used in central defense or in defensive midfield.

Career

His youth stations were Albacete Balompié and Villarreal CF ; He took his first steps in men's football at the lower-class clubs CD Onda and CF Villanovense . Since 2010 Gálvez was active at Sporting Gijón , for which he played twelve league appearances in two years; the rest of the time he played mostly for the club's B team. From 2012 to 2014 he played for Rayo Vallecano .

For the 2014/15 season , Gálvez moved to the German Bundesliga at Werder Bremen . He signed a contract that ran until June 30, 2017. In August 2016 he moved back to Spain to SD Eibar in the Primera División . After a loan to UD Las Palmas in January 2018, Gálvez moved back to Rayo Vallecano for the 2018/19 season , who had made it out of the Segunda División .
