Titular diocese of Paphus

Paphus is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church that refers to the ancient city of Paphos in Cyprus . Paphos is also the seat of the Metropolitan of Paphos of the Cypriot Orthodox Church .

Paphos is also called in the New Testament of the Bible, so it says in the Acts of the Apostles: "After they had crossed the whole island to Paphos, they met the False Prophet Barjesus ." ( Acts 13.6  EU )
