Park Bom ( . Kor 박봄 * 24. March 1984 in Seoul ) is a South Korean K-pop - singer . She was the vocalist of the K-Pop group 2NE1 and has been a solo artist since 2019, where she released her first solo single You & I under YG Entertainment in 2010.

Career

Park Bom was a member of the K-pop group 2NE1 from 2009 to 2016 . Before that, she already recorded the single Anystar in 2006 , on which she was supported by G-Dragon and Gummy . She recorded other songs in the period before 2NE1, for example with Big Bang or Lee Hyori . She was under contract with YG Entertainment . She is also still successful as a solo artist. In 2010 she received a Mnet Asian Music Award for best download single for her song You and I. The song was number 1 on the South Korean Gaon Charts . Her song Don't Cry also took first place in 2011 . In 2011 she sang the song Having an Affair ( 바람 났어 ) by G-Dragon and Park Myeong-su as a featuring and this song also reached number 1 in 2011. In 2013 she took the song All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey as a cover version together with Lee Hi . She has been under contract with D-Nation Entertainment since July 2018. In March 2019, Bom made her comeback with the single Spring. In May 2019, she released her single 4:44.
