The parliamentary elections in the Republic of Cyprus in 2016 ( Greek Κυπριακές βουλευτικές εκλογές ) for the House of Representatives took place on May 22, 2016. The House of Representatives was elected in general elections on the basis of proportional representation. A party had to achieve at least 1/56 of the valid votes in order to be able to enter parliament with at least one member.
