Paul Rouhana

Paul Rouhana OLM (born November 13, 1954 in Amchit , Lebanon ) is a Lebanese Maronite religious and auxiliary bishop in Sarba .

Life

Paul Rouhana entered the Congregation of the Lebanese Maronite Order 1971, laid the eternal profession on 17 January 1978, received on 9 June 1984, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 27, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI appointed him . as titular bishop of Antarados and approved the election of Paul Rouhana as auxiliary bishop in Sarba. The Maronite Patriarch of Antioch , Béchara Pierre Raï OMM , gave him episcopal ordination on July 28 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Curia Bishop Emeritus in Antioch , Samir Mazloum , the Archbishop of the Archeparchy of Beirut , Paul Youssef Matar , the Curia Bishop in Antioch, Paul Nabil El-Sayah , the Archbishop Emeritus of the Archeparchy of Antelia , Joseph Mohsen Béchara , the Bishop of the Eparchy of Baerchara El-Ahmar , Simon Atallah OAM , the bishop emeritus of the Cairo eparchy , François Eid OMM, the bishop of the Nossa Senhora do Líbano em São Paulo eparchy , Edgar Madi , and the bishop of the Jbeil eparchy , Michel Aoun , as well as the auxiliary bishops emeritus in Joubbé , Sarba and Jounieh, Guy-Paul Noujaim and Francis Némé Baïssari .

On July 4, 2020, Pope Francis appointed him a member of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity .
