Paula Dombrowski

Paula Dombrowski (* 1975 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German actress.

Life

Paula Dombrowski completed her acting training in 1997 at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . After completing her training, she was employed at the Schauspielhaus Zürich until 2004, during which time she was voted best young actress by the theater magazine Theater heute . Then she moved to the Thalia Theater in Hamburg , where she played until 2009. In 2005 she was awarded the Boy-Gobert Prize by the Körber Foundation . At the beginning of the 09/10 season, Dombrowski went to the Deutsche Theater Berlin.

In 2010 she left the stage and has since worked as a freelance lecturer at various drama schools. a. at the Thomas Bernhard Institute of the Mozarteum Salzburg and at the University of the Arts Berlin . In 2013 she founded “Annja Hofft” together with the actress Esther Vorwerk and the musician Sebastian Deufel. Under this label, the production "Outside" was created in 2014, where she directed for the first time. Since 2016 she has been working again as an actress.

Paula Dombrowski lives in Berlin.
