Pawel Konstantinowitsch Mamajew ( Russian Павел Константинович Мамаев , scientific transliteration Pavel Konstantinovič Mamaev ; born September 17, 1988 in Moscow ) is a Russian football player who plays on the position of midfielder.

Career

society

Pavel Mamayev began his career at the Moscow Torpedo Academy . In the summer of 2007 he moved to CSKA Moscow . He made his debut for CSKA on July 29, 2007 against FK Chimki . In 2013, Mamayev was awarded for 15 games to FK Krasnodar for the first time , before signing permanently with the club in the summer of 2013.

Previously, video recordings appeared showing how he and Alexander Kokorin from FK Krasnodar hit a head of department of a Russian ministry with a chair on the head and hit him in the face in a cafe. Criminal proceedings have been initiated against both players. Both were in custody arrested and Mamayev and Kokorin in May 2019 sentenced to one and a half years in a penal camp. In August 2020, Mamayev was found guilty of minor bodily harm according to the appeal judgment and was finally sentenced to one year of community service. He has resumed his professional activities.

National team

In 2009 he was appointed to the Russian national team for the first time . His debut followed a year later against Belgium on November 17, 2010.

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in the Russian squad . In the opening game against England, he came into the game in the last minutes of the game when the score was 0: 1. The game ended 1-1. He was substituted on at half time against Slovakia and against Wales he started the tournament for the first time. Both games were lost and Russia was eliminated.
