history

Archaeological finds from urn graves in the municipal area show a settlement at the time of the Lusatian culture . The first written mention of the village of Perne , which was probably founded in the middle of the 12th century, was in 1355 as the property of the Vachno von Perne. The seat of the Lords of Perne was a fortress on the eastern edge of the village. Since 1368 the place was called Perna . Later Perná was attached to the Lešná rule, to which it remained subject until the middle of the 19th century.

After the abolition of patrimonial Perná / Perna formed from 1850 a municipality in the district administration Valašské Meziříčí. After the cancellation of the Okres Valašské Meziříčí, Perná was assigned to the Okres Vsetín in 1960. In 1976 it was incorporated into Lešná. In 1991 there were 226 inhabitants in Perná. In the 2001 census, 254 people lived in the village's 85 houses.
