Perranuthnoe is a civil parish and a place in the former District of Penwith in the county of Cornwall in England .
It includes the settlements of Perranuthnoe, Goldsithney , Perran Downs and Rosudgeon . The place is first mentioned in the Domesday Book in 1086. During the 18th and 19th centuries there were a large number of tin and copper mines around the community . The last mine was closed in 1900.
