Peter Bond

Peter Bond (born October 29, 1952 in Świętochłowice , Poland , as Piotr Kiełbasa) is a German actor and TV presenter of Polish origin. He chose his stage name because on the one hand he is a fan of the film hero James Bond and on the other hand "Bond" is the abbreviation of his grandmother's surname, which was Bondowska .

Artistic career

Peter Bond, who is also a trained singer, has worked as an actor in numerous television productions, including the ZDF series Hoffmann & Cupovic , Am Ufer der Dämmerung , Der Western shined , Aktenzeichen XY ... unsolved and in the daily soap Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . In the 1970s and early 1980s, Bond starred in adult and pornographic films.

From 1988 Bond hosted the daily game show Wheel of Fortune, alternating weekly with Frederic Meisner on Sat.1 . When the show switched to Kabel Eins in 1998 , Bond was not taken on as a presenter. From 1994 to 1996 he presented together with Frederic Meisner Die goldene Schlagerparade .

In the summer of 2015 he took part in the show I'm a Star - Let me back in! part and fought with 26 other candidates for a place in the jungle camp in 2016.

In 2016 he took part in the 148th edition of the ARD - the game show Who knows something? part in which he played alongside team captain Bernhard Hoëcker .

Political career

Peter Bond was politically active and committed to the FDP . In 2002 he ran for the German Bundestag in the Wismar - Northwest Mecklenburg - Parchim constituency . He won 7060 of the first votes, which corresponded to 4.7% of the valid votes. In doing so, he repeated the concept from the script of the short previously made feature film The Candidate . In this satirical pseudo-documentary , in which Peter Bond played himself, he is successfully made a candidate for chancellor by a PR agency . The candidate has no program in it , but a lot of charisma . In 2002, Titanic magazine faked an FDP election campaign stand with fake posters. One of these posters showed the naked FDP general secretary Cornelia Pieper in the arms of Peter Bond in a photo montage and was signed “FDP - the (liberal) fun party” (in rune form).

When the DBD regional association Saar was founded in Püttlingen on September 15, 2016, he was elected deputy state chairman by the Democratic Citizens Germany party, which was founded in Dortmund in February 2016 . According to his own information, he wanted to campaign for a "policy from the citizen for the citizen" under his maiden name Peter Kielbassa .
