Peter Brunner (born November 13, 1991 ) is an Austrian biathlete .

Life

Peter Brunner made his international debut at the 2010 Junior World Championships in Torsby , where he was 27th in the individual, 28th in the sprint, 44th in the pursuit and sixth in the relay. The next international championships were the junior races of the European Championships 2012 in Osrblie . In fourth place in the sprint, Brunner missed medal ranks by just one place in the mixed relay race, as did Lisa Hauser , Christina Rieder and Alexander Jacob, in the pursuit he was 12th, in the individual 17th. Shortly afterwards, he also took part in the Junior World Championships in Kontiolahti 2012 participated and was 25th of the sprint, 36th in pursuit and individual as well as seventh in relay with Alexander Jacob, Fabian Hörl and David Komatz .

For men, Brunner made his debut in 2011 in Ridnaun in the IBU Cup and won the 26th a function SINGLE once the first points. In March 2019 he won a gold medal in the sprint and a silver medal in the relay at the Austrian championships.

He is an army athlete in the Austrian Armed Forces with the rank of platoon leader .
