Philipp Franck (* 2001 ) is a German actor .

Franck comes from the Munich district of Giesing . He attends the Theolinden-Gymnasium in Munich- Harlaching .

His acting career began in 2010 when he was hired as an extra by Marcus H. Rosenmüller for the film Sommer in Orange . He got his first major role in 2011 in the movie Was weg is is weg by director Christian Lerch . In the 2014 television film Schwarzach 23 , he played the son of a mother suffering from cancer. In 2016 he played a series role in Moni's Grill . He played teenagers in the comedies Das Pubertier - Der Film , Fack ju Göhte 3 and Sauerkrautkoma . He also got theater roles in the Deutsches Theater ( Tommy ) and in the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz ( Im Weißen Rößl ).

As a member of the cast of Fack Ju Göhte 3 and Sauerkrautkoma , he won the audience award of the Bavarian Film Prize in 2017 and 2019 .

In 2019 Franck played a leading role in the German-Czech contribution Babylon to the episode film The Love Europe Project , which was awarded a Grimme Prize in 2020 .
