Philipp Scharrenberg
Philipp Scharrenberg , also Scharri (born June 22, 1976 in Bonn ), is a German slam poet and cabaret artist .
Life
Scharrenberg grew up in Bonn, where he attended the Bonn community elementary school "Michaelschule" from 1982 to 1986 and then until 1995 the Clara-Schumann-Gymnasium . He then studied German and philosophy at the University of Bonn and did a Master of Arts as a media author at the Stuttgart Media University . He has worked as a radio presenter , web designer , comedy writer and has appeared as a rapper , stage poet and cabaret artist .
In 2006 he discovered poetry slams for himself. When he first took part in the German-speaking Poetry Slam Championships in 2007, he took third place and won broadcasts from the WDR Poetry Slam and the Slam Tour with Kuttner (SAT.1). In October 2009 Scharrenberg won the German-speaking championships in Düsseldorf in both individual and team competitions (with the formation "PauL - Poetry from Passion", to which Bumillo and Heiner Lange also belong).
From 2010 to mid-2016 he toured under the name Philipp Scharri with his evening programs on the cabaret and occasionally performed abroad for the Goethe-Institut . In 2014 he emerged victorious from the German Cabaret League and was awarded the title “German Cabaret Master of the 2013/2014 Season”. On the occasion of his 10th stage anniversary in autumn 2016, he changed back to his real name and won the German-language poetry slam championships again, this time in Stuttgart . As a guest of well-known satirical formats ( Ottis Schlachthof (BR), Vereinsheim Schwabing (BR), Alfons and guests (SR / SWR), Cabaret Festival (WDR5), Radiospitzen (BR2)) he can be seen and heard regularly on television and radio. Since 2011 he has moderated the St. Ingberter Pfanne cabaret competition ; the appearances of his guests as well as his rhymed moderations are broadcast regularly as part of the program kabarett.com on SR / SWR TV.
He is also a founding member of the monthly reading show “The Rational Assembly” in Munich's “Milla Club”. He lives in Bonn .
