Pijus Rulevičius (born August 10, 1992 in Elektrėnai ) is a Lithuanian ice hockey player who has been playing for the Mississippi RiverKings in the Southern Professional Hockey League since 2017 .

Career

Pijus Rulevičius began his career as a hockey player in his hometown with Energija Elektrėnai , for whom he played in the Lithuanian U18 league and was the best player of his team at the U16 Volvo Cup in 2007 in Riga . In 2007 he moved to the United States, where he was on the ice for various junior teams. During his time with Chicago Mission, he was drawn by Chicago Steel from the United States Hockey League in the 15th round of the USHL Entry Draft in 2009 , but did not play in this class for the next three years, but with teams from Metro Junior A. Hockey League, where he was the top scorer in 2010, and the North American Hockey League . It was not until 2012 that he moved to the USHL, the most important junior league in the USA, and was there for the Waterloo Black Hawks. From 2013 to 2017 he played in the team of St. Norbert College, with which he won Division III of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in 2014. After completing his studies, he joined the Mississippi RiverKings from the Southern Professional Hockey League .

International

For Lithuania, Rulevičius took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division I in 2008 , 2009 and 2010 and the U20 World Championships in Division I in 2008 and 2011 and Division II in 2009 , 2010 and 2012 .

In the men's field, he was in his country's squad at the World Championships in Division I in 2011 , 2012 , 2014 , 2017 and 2018 .
