Pionierspark ( Afrikaans ; English Pioneers Park ) is a suburb of Windhoek and is located in the southwestern part of the city. Pionierspark borders in the north on Hochlandpark , in the east on the southern industrial area and in the south on Academia and the University of Namibia .

Pioneer Park has grown strongly since Namibia's independence in 1990, which also led to a partial expansion of the urban area towards the west into the otherwise uninhabited Khomashochland . In addition to industry and commerce, there are residential areas for the middle income groups of all ethnic groups.

The Gammams main cemetery in Windhoek and the sports fields of the Wanderers Sports Club are also located in Pionierspark .
