Pointe La Rue is an administrative district of the Seychelles on the island of Mahé at the northeastern tip of the island.
geography
The district is located on the northeastern tip of Mahé and is named after the cap of the same name. It borders the Anse aux Pins and Cascade districts . Seychelles Airport takes up a large part of the coastal strip . Another settlement is Anse des Genets directly at the airport. Off the coast are the three islands of South East Island , Île aux Rats (Brule Island, Brulé Island) and Île Anonyme , which are connected by reefs, as well as the Roche Tortue rock .
The district has ISO 3166-2 code SC-20.
