Porac , Tagalog : Bayan ng Porac , is a Filipino municipality in the province of Pampanga , in the administrative region III, Central Luzon . According to the 2015 census, Porac had 124,381 residents who lived in 29 barangays . It is classified as the first income class community in the Philippines and as urbanized .
Porac's neighboring communities are Bamban , Mabalacat and Angeles City in the north, Bacolor in the east, Santa Rita and Guagua in the southeast and Floridablanca in the south, and San Marcelino in the southwest. The topography of the city is characterized by the flatlands of the central Luzon lowlands in the eastern part and the Zambales Mountains in the western part of the municipality.
