The Provincial away 288 is a street in the Dutch province of Zeeland . It is an important road connection on the Walcheren peninsula . The N288 begins south of the town of Westkapelle and runs south, passing the towns of Zoutelande and Biggekerke . It ran through the town of Koudekerke until 2005 , which is no longer necessary due to the construction of a bypass. It continues through the northern districts of Vlissingen . Shortly afterwards it becomes four lanes and runs over a lifting bridge over the Kanaal door Walcheren . Finally, the N288 joins the A58 at a large intersection in Vlissingen .
