The Provinciale off 300 , short N300 is an important road link in the Dutch province of Limburg .

Today, as the Buitenring Parkstad Limburg, the road connects the A76 motorway near Nuth via the communities of Beekdaelen , Heerlen , Brunssum , Landgraaf and Kerkrade to the cross-border Avantis business park on the German border with the N281 . The entire outer ring is designed in 2x2 lanes with a maximum speed of 100 km / h. The total distance is 26 kilometers.

history

Originally the N300 formed a connection between the N281 and the center of Kerkrade. The road ran largely parallel to the German border and was designed as a two-lane access road with a maximum speed of 80 km / h outside the built-up area and was named Hamstraat and Domaniale Mijnstraat. The total distance was 4.6 kilometers.
