Pueblo Bello is a municipality ( municipio ) in the department of Cesar in Colombia .

Pueblo Bello is located in the north of Cesar in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta . The municipality is bordered by Aracataca and Fundación in the Department of Magdalena in the north and north-west , Valledupar in the east and south and El Copey in the south-west .

population

The municipality of Pueblo Bello has 24,572 inhabitants, of which 6012 live in the urban part (cabecera municipal) of the municipality (as of 2019). Much of the population is indigenous to the Arhuaco people . Its cultural capital, Nabusímake, is located on the territory of the municipality .

The municipality of Pueblo Bello was formed in 1997.
