Puerto Rico is a country town in the Pando department in the lowlands of the South American Andean state Bolivia . The city was the first capital of the Pando department in 1938.

Puerto Rico is the seat of the administration of the province of Manuripi and the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Puerto Rico and is located in the canton of Victoria at an altitude of 175 m .
