Pürbach is a town and a cadastral district of the municipality of Schrems in the district of Gmünd in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a total of 80 building areas with 35,127 m² and 83 gardens on 30,262 m² in the cadastral community of Pürbach, in 1989/1990 there were 76 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 318 and in 2009/2010 there were 144 buildings on 327 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 258 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 47 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 185 hectares and 77 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 177 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 86 hectares. The average soil climate of Pürbach is 26.2 (as of 2010).
