Push is the fifth solo album by the rapper Afrob from 2014.

background

Push is the first Afrob album in five years. The last album, The Last of its Kind , was released in 2009. Afrob was busy moving from Stuttgart to Berlin during that time . Between 2011 and 2013 he worked on Max Herre's project MTV Unplugged Kahedi Radio Show . In the meantime he started working on the album. He chose the beats first. On the basis of these, the rapper then decided on the content of his songs.

The album was released by One Shotta Records and is distributed through Soulfood .

production

Various producers were involved in the production of the album: Rik Marvel , DJ Phono , Iamnobodi , DJ Rocky , Croup , Malik Quality and DJ Derezon . Afrob himself took on the role of executive producer . Mixing and mastering was done by Peter Hoff and Torsten Bader from Benztown Productions.

The album contains eight songs with guest appearances. In RIP is Megaloh represented. Afrob's companion Samy Deluxe contributed a verse of the song Schwererschlag . In time , the producer involved DJ Phono also on chanting. Max Herre from Stuttgart contributed to the song Call your friends . Newcomer The tribe is involved on foot in the door . She-Raw contributed to I like on you . Two artists, Telly Tellz and Asmarina Abraha , contributed to 808 Walza . Afrob's brother took part as Habesha at Lampedusa with verse and hook in Tigrin .
