Pusillani is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Pusillani is the central place of the canton Pusillani in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Aucapata in the province of Muñecas . The village of Pusillani is located at an altitude of 3706  m in a side valley of the Río Llica , which flows over the Río Mapiri to the Río Beni .

Pusillani is located east of Lake Titicaca in the Andes mountain range of the Cordillera Central . The region's climate is typical of the time of day , with temperatures differing more during the day than during the year.

From La Paz the asphalted highway Ruta 2 leads 70 kilometers north to Huarina , from there the Ruta 16 via Achacachi and Puerto Carabuco for a further 95 kilometers on largely unpaved roads to Escoma . From there the Ruta 16 branches off in a north-easterly direction and leads via Mocomoco to Chuma and on via Pusillani to Aucapata .
