Academic goodness
In order to establish a ranking of the best schools in the GPS network, one looks at the number of students who achieve a degree with the grade OP 1 . Since 1990, the BBC has stood out from this statistic in which 75% of all OP 1 graduates from the GPS schools and 50.12% of all graduates in the state of Queensland went to this school. The overall ranking results from the following:
- 1. BBC - Brisbane Boys' College
- 2. BGS - Brisbane Grammar School
- 3. GT - St. Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace
- 4. TGS - Toowoomba Grammar School
- 5. IGS - Ipswich Grammar School
- 6. TSS - The Southport School
- 7th NC - St. Joseph's Nudgee College
- 8. ACGS - Anglican Church Grammar School
- 9. BSHS - Brisbane State High School
