Răzvan Dincă Raț (born May 26, 1981 in Slatina , Olt County ) is a former Romanian football player .
Career
societies
Raț started his career at Rapid Bucharest . In the 2000/01 season he was loaned to FCM Bacau . With Rapid Bucharest he was twice Romanian champion and once Romanian cup winner. In 2003 he moved to Shakhtar Donetsk , became a fixture on the left full-back position at Donetsk and was seven times Ukrainian champion and five times Ukrainian cup winner. In the summer of 2013 he then moved to West Ham United on a free transfer. In January 2014, he terminated his contract with West Ham. On February 13, 2014 he signed a contract with Rayo Vallecano until the end of the 2013/14 season. After a year and a half he moved to PAOK Thessaloniki in Greece , from where he returned to Rayo Vallecano after a year. In the 2015/16 season he came to ten missions and was relegated with his club in 18th place.
National team
He has played over a hundred times in the Romanian national team since 2002. He scored his first international goal on April 28, 2004 in a 5-1 in a friendly against Germany .
He played his 100th international match on October 14, 2014 in Helsinki in a 2-0 win against Finland in qualifying for the Euro 2016 . He was used in nine qualifying games and helped Romania qualify for the European Championship finals with the fewest goals against.
On May 12, 2016 he was nominated for the provisional EM squad with 28 players and then also considered for the final squad. He is the only Romanian player in the squad who was used the last time he participated in 2008 and was now also used in the opening game of the European Championship against hosts France, which was lost 2-1. In the second game against Switzerland he was substituted at 1-1 in the final third, in the third and final tournament game against Albania he was not used. Romania were eliminated after the group stage.
