history

The street perch village on Gewannflur was first mentioned in 1284 and in 1406 it belonged to the Grossenhain care facility. The basic rule exercised the manor from Frauenhain. Raden was parish in Frauenhain and is now part of the local parish there. From 1696 the place belonged to the office of Großenhain, from 1856 to 1875 to the court office and then to the office of the authority in Großenhain . In 1900 the area of Pulsen was 392 hectares . In 1925, almost all of the residents were Evangelical Lutheran , only two were not. In the course of the district reform in 1952 , the administration was transferred to the newly formed Riesa district . Raden's independence ended on January 1, 1994 when it merged with Frauenhain , Pulsen and Koselitz to form the new municipality of Röderaue. In the same year, the Riesa district became part of the new Riesa-Großenhain district , which became part of the Meißen district on August 1, 2008 .

With about 300 inhabitants, Raden is the smallest district of Röderau.
