Radio sports Jerringpris
The Radiosportens Jerringpris is a Swedish sports award. It was started by Radiosporten, the sports department of Sveriges Radio . The award was named after the Swedish radio reporter and sports journalist Sven Jerring. It is also known as the "People's Prize", as the athlete or team with the most outstanding performance of a year is chosen by the audience.
The Radiosportens Jerringpris was awarded for the first time in 1979, the first prize winner was Ingemar Stenmark . The most awards went to the biathlete Magdalena Forsberg , who was elected four times.
