The Raiffeisenbank Isar Loisachtal eG is a cooperative financial institution in Bavaria . It was created through the merger of three banks in the region, the oldest of which dates back to 1897. With the establishment of the cooperative bank committed itself to the economic promotion of its customers and members.

history

In 2002 Raiffeisenbank Schäftlarn eG and Raiffeisenbank Dingharting - Straßlach eG merged to form Raiffeisenbank Isartal eG. In 2006, the merger with Raiffeisenbank Königsdorf - Gelting eG followed to form today's Raiffeisenbank Isar-Loisachtal eG. The seat of the new institute was relocated from Hohenschäftlarn to Wolfratshausen.

Business area

The bank's business area is south of Munich. The bank's network of branches includes 7 branches and four self-service branches in Hohenschäftlarn , Baierbrunn , Icking , Großdingharting , Straßlach , Ebenhausen , Königsdorf , Geretsried , Gelting, Waldram and Wolfratshausen (main office). In 2017, three branches were closed and converted into self-service points.

Raiffeisenbank Isar-Loisachtal eG looks after around 22,000 customers, 7,460 of whom are members of the cooperative bank. The main purpose of the cooperative is the economic promotion and support of its members (§ 2 of the statutes). According to the statutes, the members elect representatives from their ranks every four years (one representative for every 50 members or part thereof). The representative assembly meets annually and performs important tasks regulated in the statutes. The members receive information about the business policy and the development of the bank annually at the regional general meetings.

Cooperative financial group Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken

The bank is part of the cooperative financial group Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken and a member of the Federal Association of German Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken (BVR) and its security scheme . The statutory auditing association is the Bavarian Cooperative Association (GVB).
