Ram-Leela ( Hindi गोलियों की रासलीला रामलीला Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela ) is a Hindi film that was released in theaters on November 15, 2013 in India and on November 21, 2013 in Germany. In German cinemas it ran with German subtitles (OmU). Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles . The film is inspired by William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet .

For centuries, the families of the confident Ram and the fearless Leela have been enemies. Despite the adversity, they are drawn to each other and fall in love. This circumstance naturally causes turmoil in both families and instead of seeing the connection between the children as an opportunity to resolve their conflicts, the parents forbid the couple in love from meeting again. The film depicts the course of the love story against the background of these difficulties.
