The Rammelsberg and former mining facilities

Rammelsberg is a district of the Lower Saxony district town of Goslar am Harz . The district to which the "Siemensviertel" and the "Rosenberg" belong is a residential area south of the old town of Goslar.
The district takes its name from the Rammelsberg ( 635.1 m above sea level ) south of the city of Goslar. Since 1992 is part Rammelsberg ore mines for UNESCO - World Heritage Site .
Culture and sights
- In 1974 the artist Siegfried Zimmermann created a fountain as art in public space at the vocational support organization. Its second construction phase was completed in the same year.
