Rasmus Max Wirth

Rasmus Max Wirth (* 1986 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Rasmus Max Wirth, born and raised in Berlin, comes from a theater family and was on the stage for the first time at the age of 14. After two long stays in Barcelona and New York City , where he a. visited the HB Studio in Greenwich Village , Wirth completed his acting studies from 2009 to 2013 at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich .

During his apprenticeship he had already performed at various Munich venues, including a. at the Prinzregententheater , in the Reaktorhalle Munich as well as at the Metropoltheater and the Akademietheater . In summer 2012 he played the roles of “journeyman” and “devil” at the “Kulturwald” festival in Deggendorf in Hofmannsthal'schen Jedermann . In 2012, on the occasion of the 850th anniversary of the city of Landsberg am Lech, he worked in the theater project Come, we are part of a revolution , which was created in cooperation with Landsberg students and was performed at various venues in Landsberg's old town and in the Landsberg city theater.

After completing his training, he was initially committed to the Münster Theater in the 2013/14 season .

Afterwards he was part of the ensemble of the Schlosstheater Celle from the season 2014/15 to 2016 , where he played numerous roles of the classical and modern theater repertoire, a. a. the Mephisto , Romeo , the title role in Tschick , the narrator Nick Carraway in a stage version of the novel The Great Gatsby , the young soldier Tjaden in the Western , the clerk light in Kleist's comedy The Broken Jug and the title character in Danton's Death .

Since 2018 he has been involved in several productions of the Atze Musiktheater in Berlin and has made guest appearances at the “Fliegende Theater Berlin”. In the 2019/20 season he appeared at the «Keller 62» theater in Zurich together with the Swiss actress Laura Sophia Becker in the two-person play Im Bett based on the award-winning script by the Chilean author Matías Bize . In May 2020 he made a guest appearance in the Nuremberg Tafelhalle in a livestream theater project. For the 2020/21 season, Wirth was engaged at the Theater am Gleis in Winterthur (Switzerland).

Rasmus Max Wirth also appeared in front of the camera in various short films as well as in some cinema and television productions. For the cinema he shot a. a. with Uisenma Borchu and Tobias Stille . In the fairy tale film The Little Mermaid (2013), produced for the TV series Six in One Stroke , he played one of the prince's two best friends at the side of Philipp Danne and Björn von der Wellen . He also worked several times as an advertising actor and speaker.

Rasmus Max Wirth has a daughter and lives in Berlin.
