Raymond Owen "Ray" Ruffels (born March 23, 1946 in Sydney ) is a former Australian tennis player .

Career

At the Australian Open he reached the semi-finals in 1968, 1969 and 1975, and the quarter-finals in 1970 and 1977. In 1978 he reached the finals at Wimbledon and at the US Open in mixed - together with partner Billie Jean King . Double.

He currently resides in Australia, where he was born and raised before moving to California . There he met Anna Maria, with whom he has two children, Ryan and Gabriela. Ryan is an aspiring amateur golfer.
