Regio TV Schwaben is a regional TV station that has been broadcasting since 2006. The transmission area includes the Baden-Württemberg districts of Alb-Donau , Biberach , Heidenheim , Ostalbkreis and the city of Ulm and the Bavarian district of Neu-Ulm .

The media company Schwäbischer Verlag has a 51% stake in the station, as well as the publishers of Augsburger Allgemeine and Südwest Presse . According to the company, the management of the company lies with Medienhaus Schwäbischer Verlag, which also owns the regional TV channels Regio TV Stuttgart and Regio TV Bodensee .

Regio TV is a private broadcasting group consisting of three television channels: Regio TV Bodensee based in Ravensburg, Regio TV Schwaben in Ulm and Regio TV Stuttgart in Stuttgart. Germany's largest regional broadcasting group has a technical reach of around 5 million viewers in Württemberg, as well as in parts of Baden and Bavaria. Regio TV can be received via cable, satellite and HbbTV in the entire distribution area. In terms of content, each region can be found in its tailor-made news magazine “JOURNAL”.

Regio TV Schwaben employs between 25 and 30 people, spread over 3 locations in Ulm, Aalen and Biberach, with the headquarters in Ulm. The broadcaster offers internships as well as training and volunteer positions to those interested.

Regio TV Schwaben can be received via the cable network in more than 230,000 households as well as via satellite.

There is a separate cable route for the districts of Ulm, Biberach and the Alb-Donau district as well as for the district of Neu-Ulm and the districts of Heidenheim and Ostalbkreis.
