Reichenbach is a village and a cadastral municipality of the municipality of Litschau in the Gmünd district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 20 building areas with 12,073 m² and 19 gardens on 8,481 m² in the cadastral community Reichenbach, in 1989/1990 there were 29 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 79 and in 2009/2010 there were 34 buildings on 64 building areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture and forestry. 129 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 127 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 119 hectares and 132 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 114 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 134 hectares. The average soil climate of Reichenbach is 23.3 (as of 2010).
