history
Reinert Logistics was founded in 1990 by René Reinert under the name Reinert Transporte - Baustoffe - Erdbau in Runde north of Görlitz . Five years later, the company had 45 vehicles and 35 employees. In 1996 today's main business area, piece goods transport in national long-distance traffic , was founded. In 1999 the company was converted to Reinert Transport und Logistik AG . At that time the company had almost 100 employees. After taking on a major order for the company Mühl Product & Service AG from Kranichfeld , which subsequently went bankrupt , Reinert was re-established and in 2002 had 150 employees and a fleet of 120 vehicles.
In 2005 Reinert founded the first two branches in Cottbus and Leipzig . Since then, the company has grown continuously, in 2009 Reinert Logistics had 400 vehicles, currently there are almost 750 vehicles. In 2016, Reinert Logistics employed just under 1,250 people, including just under 1,000 professional drivers .

The company administration has not been in loop since 2016, but in Cottbus, as the plan was to dredge the Schleifer district of Mulkwitz , in which the company headquarters is located, in favor of the Nochten open-cast lignite mine. Another branch is planned in Nuremberg .
Others
- Reinert Logistics has had its own truck racing team in the FIA European Truck Racing Championship since 2012 , and in 2015 René Reinert took 6th place in the table and 3rd place in the team classification at the European championships
- Because of its proximity to the Polish border, Reinert Logistic is accused of predominantly hiring Eastern European drivers as cheap workers. However, 70% of the drivers are German citizens.
- Reinert Logistic is a cooperation partner of Lausitzer Füchse and sponsor of Eisbären Berlin .
- In 2016 Reinert Logistic was awarded the Grand Prize for Medium-Sized Enterprises.
