History and description

The house was built around the turn of the 20th century (before 1906) on behalf of the later owner Isaac Tillmanns . It was the air raid on Ronsdorf not destroyed and projects in contrast to the rather thick acting neighboring buildings high up and was on an older, out of sandstone and cap ceiling built cellar in half-timbered style created. It has three full floors with six window axes (on the top two floors), the windows of which are provided with classicistic cornices . The converted attic under the pitched roof with Traufgesims has three back to the road traufständig aligned dormers . Due to the extensions, the house does not have a symmetrical floor plan . The roadside left, northern cultivation has an axis and rises above two levels, the upper verschiefert and a flat roof or a very slightly inclined pent roof has. On the courtyard side, there is another narrow extension, which is clad with panels. A third extension on the rear side has a rectangular floor plan. It has two mostly slated full storeys with a slightly sloping flat roof and is inhabited. Except for the street facade on the ground floor, which is clad with fluted and light gray painted boards and the southern gable wall, to which a residential building from the post-war period was built, the main house is completely slated. The entrances have stylized / visually suggestive columns with bases , capitals and architraves . There were originally shops on both sides of the central entrance . While the shop to the right of the entrance was converted into an apartment before 1939, there was an Italian restaurant on the left (in the northern part of the house) that moved to the neighboring house "Remscheider Straße 33" for reasons of space. Today there is a retail store in these premises.
