René Weissinger
René Weissinger (born December 11, 1978 in Böblingen ) is a German racing cyclist .
René Weissinger began his international career in 2002 with the Rothaus team . His greatest successes included the 2001 German Hill Climbing Championship , the one-day race in the Bern Tour in 2005, two stage victories in the Tour of Qinghai Lake in 2006 and the sprint classification of the Tour de Suisse in 2008 . Weissinger also studied at the Pforzheim University of Applied Sciences and took part in the student world championships in cycling.
