Renata Pliś (born February 5, 1985 in Wroclaw ) is a Polish middle and long distance runner .

Athletic career

In 2010 she was eliminated over 3000 m at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha and over 1500 m at the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona in the preliminary stages.

In 2011 she was fourth over 1500 m at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Paris and reached the semi- finals at the World Athletics Championships in Daegu .

Over the same distance, she did not get past the first round at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and reached the semi-finals at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow.

In 2014 she was seventh over 3000 m at the indoor championships in Sopot . At the European Championships in Zurich she came fourth over 1500 m and twelfth over 5000 m , and at the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech she was fifth over 1500 m.

In 2015 she was eighth over 1500 m at the European Indoor Championships in Prague and reached the semifinals at the World Championships in Beijing .

In 2010 she became Polish champion over 800 m , in 2012 and 2013 over 1500 m and 2015 over 5000 m. In the hall she won the national title once each over 800 m (2011) 1500 m (2008) and 3000 m (2008).
