Richard Kiprop

Richard Kiprop (born April 3, 1989 ) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in road running.

In 2012 he won the Alsterlauf , the Tübingen city run , the Route du Vin and the half marathon of the Dresden Marathon . He came second at the Grand 10 Berlin .

In the following year, a fifth place in the Lisbon half marathon was followed by a victory in the Paderborn Easter run over 10 km. He finished eighth in the Berlin half marathon and second in the Würzburg Residence Run. After defending his title at the Alster run and in Tübingen, he finished tenth in the Delhi half marathon .

In 2014 he finished fourth at the CPC Loop Den Haag , third at the Berlin Half Marathon and second at Göteborgsvarvet . After a triumph in the Oelder Citylauf , he finished second in the Zwolle half marathon , fifth in the Prague Grand Prix and fourth in the Ústí half marathon . He won the Bredase Singelloop with his personal best of 1:00:11 h.

In 2015 he finished fourth in the Berlin half marathon with 59:59 minutes for the first time under an hour. He won the Göteborgsvarvet and the Zwolle half marathon and defended his title in Oelde.

The following year he won the Berlin half marathon and defended his titles in Gothenburg and Zwolle. He finished sixth in the Eindhoven Marathon . In 2017 he finished sixth in the Paris Half Marathon and eighth in the Paris Marathon . In Zwolle he won for the third time in a row.

In 2018 he came third in the Berlin Half Marathon.
