Ridge Munsy (born July 9, 1989 in Lucerne ) is a Swiss football player of Congolese origin. The striker is currently under contract with Swiss first division club FC Thun .

Career

Ridge Munsy spent his junior years at FC Küssnacht am Rigi and FC Luzern.

In the winter of 2007, under Ciriaco Sforza, he made the leap into the first team of FC Luzern in the Super League. He made his debut on February 11, 2007 at the home game against FC Sion .

Munsy moved to FC Lausanne-Sport in the summer of 2010, who loaned him to Yverdon Sports FC for half a year in January 2011.

In July 2011 he moved to SC Kriens, where he scored 21 goals in 14 games in the first half of the season in the first division in summer 2014 .

FC Thun took notice and switched back to the Super League in January 2015. On July 19, 2015 Munsy scored his first goal in the Swiss Super League in the 5-3 defeat against Grasshopper Club Zurich . In his first full season 2015/16 at FC Thun, he scored 11 goals.

In June 2016 he moved to the Grasshopper Club Zurich, where he signed a contract until the end of June 2019. For the second half of 2017/18 he was loaned to the German second division club FC Erzgebirge Aue .
