Dennis Salanović (born February 26, 1996 in Vaduz ) is a Liechtenstein football player . He has been under contract with FC Thun in the Swiss Super League since the 2018/19 season .
Career
society
Salanović played in the youth team of FC Schaan from 2002 to 2013 . In the 2013/14 season he played a few games with the 1st team. He played with Schaan in the 3rd division , the 7th division in the Swiss league system. In February 2014 he moved to the U-19s of Atlético Madrid after a trial session . Dennis Salanović was named Liechtenstein's young footballer in 2014.
In February 2015 he moved to the 1st HNL , the top Croatian league, to NK Istra 1961 . He made his debut game on March 21, 2015, the 26th matchday. In the 1: 4 defeat against Dinamo Zagreb , he came in the 66th minute for Dino Špehar in the game.
After a year, he moved from Croatia back to Switzerland on February 15, 2016. Until June 30, 2016, he signed a contract with the Liechtenstein football club FC Balzers , which at that time plays in the first division of Switzerland. After his contract expired, he moved to the Promotion League for FC Rapperswil-Jona on July 1, 2016 . Here he signed a contract until June 30, 2019.
In June 2018 Salanović moved to the highest Swiss league for FC Thun , where he signed a three-year contract with an option.
National team
In qualifying for the European Football Championship in 2016 , he made his debut on September 8, 2014 in the qualifying match against Russia . In the 4-0 defeat, he was on the field for over 90 minutes.
