Rinaldo Fidel Brédice

Rinaldo Fidel Brédice (born September 11, 1932 in Tortugas , Santa Fe province , † April 14, 2018 in General Pico , La Pampa province ) was an Argentine clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Santa Rosa .

Life

Rinaldo Fidel Brédice studied philosophy and theology at the diocesan Karl Borromäus seminar. On 22 December 1956 he received at the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Rosario by Antonio Cardinal Caggiano the priesthood . He was initially a chaplain at the Colegio Mayor Universitario León XIII in the city of Rosario and then worked as a pastor and military chaplain. He was a professor of pastoral theology at the Karl Borromeo Seminary. In 1985 he was appointed vicar general of the diocese of Santa Rosa.

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Santa Rosa on January 31, 1992 . The Archbishop of Bahía Blanca , Rómulo García , donated him episcopal ordination on March 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Jorge Manuel López , Archbishop of Rosario , and Ubaldo Calabresi , Apostolic Nuncio in Argentina . He was president of the episcopal commission for health pastoral care and deputy subdelegate of the pastoral region of Platense from 2002 to 2005.
