The Ritchey MTB Challenge or Ritchey Mountain Bike Challenge is an annual series of mountain bike marathons with competitions in Bavaria , Vorarlberg , Tyrol , Upper Austria and South Tyrol . The namesake and main sponsor of the series is the component manufacturer Ritchey Design .

competition

The marathon series took place for the first time in 2006 under the name TREK Mountain Bike Challenge Bavaria . It currently consists of ten individual races, which together result in an overall winner. The five best results are evaluated for this. The drivers are each offered several route lengths and difficulties, which, depending on the level of difficulty, have different levels of influence in the overall ranking. This makes the series suitable for hobby drivers and amateurs as well as professionals.

Marathon race

The series runs from April to September and currently consists of subsequent marathons.
