Robert Uibe
Robert Uibe (born January 15, 1851 in Pouch , Anhalt , † between 1893 and 1896 ) was a German organ builder in Schlaben , today Neuzelle, in Lower Lusatia .
Life
The father Carl Uibe was an instrument maker in Pouch near Bitterfeld. Richard Uibe (1852–1912), teacher and organist in Seese and Lübbenau, was probably a brother. Robert Uibe worked for Wilhelm Sauer in Frankfurt (Oder) in the tin workshop. Since around 1879 he was a self-employed organ builder in Schlaben (today Neuzelle). Gustav Heinze worked for him from 1889 to 1892. Robert Uibe's last organ works are known from 1893. He died in 1897.
Robert Uibe was married to Emilie Finke. They had six children.
