Until 2009, Duvillard mainly participated in the Alpine Cup. He ran his first World Cup race in 2004 in La Clusaz , which he finished in 73rd place over 15 km freestyle. Until 2009 he took part in a few World Cup races, all of which he finished with placings outside the World Cup points. In December 2009 he finished sixth over 15 km in Davos , his best result in the World Cup to date. He finished the Tour de Ski 2009/2010 in 35th place. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he reached 50th place in the 30 km skiathlon race . He finished the season in 82nd place in the overall World Cup.
The Tour de Ski 2010/2011 finished Duvillard in 20th place. Sixth place in the prologue race was his best result on this tour. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , she reached 33rd place over 50 km freestyle and 11th place with the relay. He finished the 2010/11 World Cup season in 51st place in the overall World Cup. At the Tour de Ski 2011/2012 he reached the 23rd place. His best result in the 2011/12 season in the World Cup was 17th place. At the French cross-country skiing championship in 2012 in Bessans , he won bronze in the 15 km freestyle.
