Robin Duvillard (born December 22, 1983 in Saint-Martin-d'Hères ) is a French cross-country skier .

Career

Until 2009, Duvillard mainly participated in the Alpine Cup. He ran his first World Cup race in 2004 in La Clusaz , which he finished in 73rd place over 15 km freestyle. Until 2009 he took part in a few World Cup races, all of which he finished with placings outside the World Cup points. In December 2009 he finished sixth over 15 km in Davos , his best result in the World Cup to date. He finished the Tour de Ski 2009/2010 in 35th place. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he reached 50th place in the 30 km skiathlon race . He finished the season in 82nd place in the overall World Cup.

The Tour de Ski 2010/2011 finished Duvillard in 20th place. Sixth place in the prologue race was his best result on this tour. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 , she reached 33rd place over 50 km freestyle and 11th place with the relay. He finished the 2010/11 World Cup season in 51st place in the overall World Cup. At the Tour de Ski 2011/2012 he reached the 23rd place. His best result in the 2011/12 season in the World Cup was 17th place. At the French cross-country skiing championship in 2012 in Bessans , he won bronze in the 15 km freestyle.

At the Tour de Ski 2012/13 he reached 48th place. His best result at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme was 44th place over 15 km freestyle. He finished 21st in the Tour de Ski 2013/2014 . At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , Duvillard won bronze in the relay. He finished sixth in the 50 km freestyle. He finished the overall World Cup of the 2013/14 season in 47th place and the Distance World Cup in 24th place. In the 2014/15 season he finished second at the Engadin Skimarathon and third at La Sgambeda . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun , he won the bronze medal with the relay. After two seventh places at the beginning of the 2015/16 season, he finished 31st in the 2016 Tour de Ski . He ran the second fastest time on the final stage in the Fiemme Valley . At the end of the season he came in 20th place in the Ski Tour Canada and reached 31st place in the overall World Cup. In the following year he won the Transjurassienne over 50 km freestyle and took 25th place in the 50 km mass start race and seventh place in the relay at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti .

In the 2018/19 season Duvillard won the Alpine Cup in Nové Město over 15 km freestyle and the Transjurassienne over 68 km freestyle. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2019 in Seefeld in Tirol , he finished 27th in the 50 km mass start race.
