Roc Nation is an American record label founded by Jay-Z .

history

In April 2008, Live Nation worked with Jay-Z to create Roc Nation. Roc Nation has a sub-label called Roc Star and an entertainment company called Takeover Roc Nation, located in the United Kingdom is to sit next to the UK and Europe to cover; Roc Nation distributes its records with Sony Music Entertainment and works with Live Nation. After Jay-Z heard the mixtape The Warm Up , J. Cole became the first artist to be signed by Roc Nation.
