Rodica nail
Rodica Daniela Nagel (born November 18, 1970 , as Rodica Daniela Moroianu) is a former French-Romanian long-distance runner who has contested distances of 3000 meters up to the half marathon . She was active from 1987 to 2007. Before taking part in competitions for her adopted country of France , she started for her home country Romania until June 1997 .
Career
During her career, Nagel took part in six world cross-country championships and ran at the 1999 World Indoor Athletics Championships in Maebashi , Japan and at the 2002 World Half Marathon Championships in Brussels , Belgium . In 2001 she won the team bronze medal at the 2001 World Cross Country Championships in Ostend , Belgium. Her only individual international medal was the silver medal in the 5000 meter discipline at the 1997 Francophonie Games in Antananarivo , Madagascar .
She won the French cross-country championships twice. The first time in 1998 in the short distance discipline and the second time in 2002 in the long distance discipline. In her road running career, Nagel was the first to cross the finish line in 1997 at the 10-kilometer run at the Humarathon in Ivry-sur-Seine , France, and at the Giro di Castelbuono , a 10-kilometer run in Castelbuono , Italy .
