Roland Müller (born December 16, 1986 in Innsbruck ) is a former Austrian ski jumper .

Career

He lives in Neustift in the Stubaital and starts for SV Innsbruck-Bergisel . He was trained at the Stams ski school. The sports soldier made his international debut at an FIS competition in Hinterzarten at the end of 2002 , where he took second place. Only a month later he won a jumping for the first time in Villach . In Sollefteå , Roland Müller won the gold medal in the team competition at the Junior World Championships in February 2003. Up until January 2004, the Austrian was used in FIS and Continental Cup events. On January 4th he made his debut in the ski jumping World Cup in his native Innsbruck , but did not reach the final as 43rd. He succeeded in his third show jumping one month after his debut in 29th place in Willingen . Müller achieved his best result in 2008 as 15th in the Four Hills Tournament 2007/08 in Bischofshofen . Müller has so far won three FIS competitions and six competitions in the Continental Cup .

On the old Vikersundbakken he achieved a distance of 219 meters in a ski flying that was part of the Continental Cup in 2004, which was a hill record for seven years and was only exceeded in 2011 after the Vikersundbakken had been converted into the world's largest ski flying hill.
