Roman Andrejev (born June 5, 1990 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR ) is an Estonian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Borås HC since 2016 , with whom he has played in Swedish Division 2 since 2017 .

Career

Roman Andrejev began his career as a hockey player at Narva PSK , for whom he made his debut in the Meistriliiga at the age of 16 . From 2009 to 2011 he played for the New Jersey Renegades in the Metro Junior Hockey League. He then returned to Estonia, where he was on the ice for Tartu Kalev-Välk for two years and was Estonian national champion in 2012 with the club from the second largest Estonian city . In 2013 he moved to the United States for the second time and initially played in the northeastern United States for the Danville Dashers in the Federal Hockey League , but moved to the south during his first overseas season, where he played for the Pensacola Ice Flyers and Mississippi Surge each was active in the Southern Professional Hockey League . In 2014 he was drawn to Varberg HK in the Swedish Hockeyettan , the third highest division in the Scandinavian country. In December 2016, he moved to fifth-rate Borås HC , with whom he was promoted to fourth-rate Division 2 in 2017 .

International

For Estonia Andrejev took part in the junior division of the U18 World Cup in 2007 in Division I and the U20 World Championships in Division I in 2007 and Division II in 2010 when he was captain of his team. In the senior sector, he competed for his country in the tournaments of Division II in 2012 and 2014 , where he was promoted to Division I with the team from the Baltic States. There he played at the 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 World Championships . He also represented his colors at the Baltic Cup 2016.
